Raymond May 10, 2013

As we come to the end of our 40th season as Shinfield Rangers Youth Football Club, we take the time to reflect on the achievements of the 2012/13 season:-

  • U13 Whites (all Under 12) came runners up in their league after a nail biting midweek fixture at which both teams were fighting for the champions title.
  • U13 boys secured promotion for the 3rd consecutive season and will be playing Divison 1 football in NEHYL next Season.
  • U9 girls team were put together and after a struggle at the start of the seaon, we now have 9 girls registered, but we are still recruiting.

With other teams also doing well in their respective leagues, we now look forward to celebrating at our 40th Anniversary Fun Day, with the Founder Member of the club coming along to join the celebrations. The Fun Day will be held at Millworth Lane, Shinfield, RG2 9EN on Sunday 9th June, 10.30am – 5pm. The day is set to be packed full of fun and celebration, not only for the families involved in the club, but for the community as a whole.
We invite everyone to come along and enjoy the day at which we will have visitors Reading FC including Kingsley, special guests from the world of sport and football, fantastic prizes to be won in the Raffle, Football matches, Barbecue  Ice Cream van and lots of fun activities for all the family to enjoy.
