if you have any questions about joining a team.

As an FA Award-winning Club, we’re really pleased and proud to be able to support children of all ages between 4 and 18 in a safe, fun and educational environment.  We want to spread a helping hand to as many children as possible, which means we’re always happy to take on new members. You don’t need to live in Shinfield to join, so if want to have fun please get in touch via one of the links below or fill in the Contact form through the menu above. Similarly, we can always do with more help. Perhaps there is something you can do?  It isn’t all about football, so you don’t need to be an expert to help in any way you can, including financially. If you can help us then please contact a member of the committee or chat with your team manager.

Add 1 year to what would be your child’s age at midnight on August 31st. Your child will then be “Under” that age when the season starts in September. If in doubt, then please contact us and we’ll put you in touch with the correct team. We are always looking for new players and volunteers. Please note that under FA Rules (F.A. Rule 4), children under 6 cannot play in matches or teams, but contact us click here for details of our Mini-Allstars Fun Club sessions we run for younger children.

Whether you know a lot about football or nothing at all it would be great if you check over this booklet from the FA which covers what is involved by players, parents/carers or coaches: FA Youth Development Booklet. As an FA Charter Standard Community Club we are required to make player safety our top priority. You will find documents covering this and other requirements on our Docs page on this website. There are also league-specific rules available from each League’s website, and links to conduct guides at the end of each team description below.
