A top of the table clash, which produced a very close game. Much of the pressing in this game was
provided by Shinfield but Bracknell as ever provided very stubborn resistance. Indeed as with many
games of this nature, Bracknell proved sharp on the break and took the lead with a good counter
attacking move and went in at the break 1-0 to the good.
In the second half again Shinfield were doing the pressing again and Will scored a superb header
direct from a Liam corner. The game being very evenly matched and with Will Prowse reminding the
back line of their defensive duties proving to be a masterstroke, as again Bracknell broke clear and
looked certain to snatch victory when Luke put in a game saving challenge.
And so it finished honours even. It should give everyone great encouragement when not for the
first time this season, the opposition parents came to commend our players on their spirit and
determination.
