Respect at Shinfield Rangers FC

WHAT DOES THE TERM ‘RESPECT’ MEAN?

Respect is a positive feeling or action. A person who is respectful has consideration for their needs or feelings of others.

A person who is disrespectful uses inappropriate language and behaviours and offends other people – extreme disrespect is ‘Bullying’. This is unwanted, aggressive behaviour. We do not accept this behaviour in Football (at our Club)

Consequences of NOT following the Club’s Code of Conduct and ‘RESPECT’ requirement

  • Be asked to apologise
  • Receive a formal warning
  • Receive a training and match ban
  • Be dropped from the Team
  • Asked to leave the Club

HOW DO WE SHOW RESPECT

  • Play fairly and in friendly way
  • Win or lose – shake hands with the other Team
