Congratulations to both our Girls teams for outstanding performances in their League match and end of season tournaments.
In spite of a valiant performance by Wargrave, Shinfield’s Under 15s won 6-1. Looks like they are going to be at least joint League winners and they face Wargrave again in May for the Cup final.
League rules prevent us giving scores or results for our Under 10 Girls but you can see from the photo how happy they are holding their trophies.
Proud as we are of our own teams, we are really encouraged and respectful of all the excellent teams in the Berkshire County Girls Football League and of the League organisers for doing such a great job. Well done to all!
Hopefully we can get enough girls to start a new junior team next season to add to the success :).
